Leaving/entering Australia

Hi everyone,

 

Has anyone had any luck getting approval to leave Australia/having their partners visit during COVID19? My partner can't enter Australia as hes not a citizen and as we are engaged I don't think we qualify for the defecato exemption. Any advice would really be appreciated, really struggling being away from my partner for so long.

As you indicated , a non resident or citizen will not be allowed to enter Australia at this time. Looking at the list of reasons for an exit permit being granted, unfortunately  your situation does  not fit into any of the criteria .. and I would anticipate a denial of any application for an exit permit .. the criteria are laid out on the Australian Smart traveller website

Thanks, yeah I had gone through the list just was hoping to hear from anyone that may have exited and if there was any wiggle room. Hopeful thinking lol
