Hello.

My husband submitted his I-864 for our CR1 application. We got the following message from NVC this morning. I checked the form that he submitted, and he’s name is clearly written in the form. My question is, what does “please enter sponsor’s name in part 1” means?

Is your husband the beneficiary? If so that means whoever is sponsoring him should have their name in the 1st box. Are you the person taking responsibility of being your husbands sponsor? If so, you must fill in your name in that box or whoever is assuming sponsorship responsibilities.
