I with you guys...I get my brows waxed/tweezed. Nearly all Arab/Muslim women I know have it done. Even some of the men I know (my husband included) will clean up the brows if they get out of control.

We Muslims seem determined to take every bit of color and joy out of the world that God made for us by making absolutely everything that has the least amount of enjoyment and entertainment haram....has anyone ever considered that the prophet forbade tatoos back in the day because a great many arabs had tribal type tatoos back then and the prophet was trying to get rid of the "tribal mentality" concept. We are from God, we are Muslims, we should not be owned and marked with tribal affiliation. He was trying to change the "Im from a certain tribe so Im better than you" thinking and to do that he made tatooing disliked....then again if you dont care much for hadeeth then it makes little difference.
