How accurate is the N400 estimator when it gives you the number of DAYS before the next action on your application?

I am being told that the next action on my account will be taken in 28 days. This estimate decreases by 1 with each passing day. This seems so precise, as if we were in Switzerland! In your experience, is it pretty accurate or way off?

It really depends. For me that part only had value when it came to the interview portion. I think my interview noticed was issued with about 15 days left on the clock. 

CITIZENSHIP TIMELINE

4/2019: Submitted N400

5/2019: Biometrics (3 weeks)

2/2020: Interview (10 months)

3/2020: Oath & naturalization (11 months)

6/2020: Passport received (3 months)

Officially a U.S. Citizen!
