"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

No reason really - I like a lot of UK comic book characters.

Come 4th of July - I might opt for Captain Britain ;)

Or Captain Scarlet

I can remember the "Captain Scarlet" episodes (© 1971, may have been repeats) and long thought that Captain Scarlet was Canuck--but checked Wiki on this.

Well there now. And I really, really thought that the answer was going to be that all 3, Erekose, The Mekon and #6, were  experts at playing mind games. But thank you for clearing that up. :innocent:

Well not that there's any big secret here - but if anyone's interested, the name "Erekose" isn't a random jumble of letters.

I have a soft spot for anti-heroes - the Mekon doesn't quite fit that description of course; but a disabled supervillain surely inspires some sympathy ;)
