Is it okay to upload lacking document AFTER the interview?

I was told at the pre-screening that I missed to upload the petitioner's W-2 (but I gave them a hardcopy). I asked if I will be placed under 221g and she said it will depend on the officer's decision. At the interview, the consul did not ask any additional document and said I'm good. So I had the impression that they will probably just upload it themselves.

After a week, I checked my account at CEAC and they still did not add the W-2 there. Should I upload it myself or should I not touch anything after the interview? Anyone with similar experience?

Thank you.

What is the visa status in CEAC?  If AP then upload the documents.

It turned AP on the same date of the interview (Jan21). And then it turned READY on the 2nd day until today.

Give it another day or two.  I'm guessing it is about to change to issued.

Do nothing until asked.   Just be patient and keep watching CEAC.    Once status changes to ISSUED it can be a couple more days before 2GO has the visa package, then another 3-7 business for delivery.
