Manila Administrative Processing

My Fiance had her appointment on 06 Dec 2019.  They told her 2-3 weeks to wait for passport with Visa after acceptance. CEAC shows Administrative Processing.  I expected a longer wait due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

On 06 Jan 2020, the status changed "Case Last Updated" with that date.

She took the CFO class with others who had interview on 23 Dec and already had Visa in hand.

Has anyone else had this experience?

My wife's friend has been in AP with Manila for almost 3 months now. Presumably she is undergoing background checks due to her travel/work history.

If they haven't requested documents, then it's just a waiting game. In most cases, AP takes days or weeks. Sometimes it takes months. Rarely it takes longer.

Best wishes.

AP is as long as it takes, no two cases are alike.   Was your fiancee an OFW or anything else?

Thank you for the responses.

Hank, she was not an OFW.

I am hoping this week to see a change from Admistrative Processing.

The email might be your best contact as the phones numbers are to a call center.
