Physical presence for CRBA

I am a us citizen by naturalization since 2017 . I was a green card holder from 2008 . I got married abroad with a non us citizen and have a child . I want to apply for a CRBA for my child but I don't know if the time of 5 years required spent in USA means after I gained citizenship or the years as a green card holder can count too ?

All periods of residence or physical presence must have taken place prior to the birth of the child. Naturalized citizens may count any time they spent in the United States or its outlying possessions both before and after being naturalized.   So, your years as a permanent resident (green card holder) count - specifically the times you were physically in the United States.

 

Be sure your documentation is complete and more than enough for your claim.
