Decision cannot be made

Hi,

    I had my interview recently in Fairfax, VA. Everything went great except that I've been handed a letter that says "decision cannot be made at this time" as the officer is waiting to review/receive my A-file.

He asked me to wait about 45 days. Has anyone experienced anything similar, if so, how long did you wait? Please advise.

Your Timeline is empty. You had your interview for what type of visa? What country are you from originally? What visa did you use to enter the US?

N-400, Filed in June 2019 and Interview Jan 2020.

I see this on n400 facebook support group a lot of times. following.

It was approved couple of days later and took my oath in Feb. Decision cannot made is very common outcome, it can take anywhere between 2 days and max of 120 days from the interview.

The downside is we cant do anything until its past 120 days from interview.
