Obviously it's better to have an updated one but give it a shot! It may fly!

I dont want an RFE, but also dont want my employeer wondering why I keep asking for letters of employment, they think i'm doing something suspicious. Just wanted to know if its ok, or if a new one would be required.

I would recommended by our lawyer to get an updated employment letter at each stage of the process. My employer knows that I need for my husband's immigration ... can't you tell your employer that?
