I need advice: No Immigrant Data Summary on yellow visa packet containing medical only

Hi, I read everywhere that there is an attached Immigrant Data Summary on the yellow packet (spousal visa). I received the yellow packet today but there was no IDS. My visa has this annotation: IV documents in CCD
212(g)(2)(B)
Class A or B (TB) Req. ATTN. of USPHS at POE (You will enter the US with the issued visa in your passport and a yellow sealed immigrant packet containing your medical only.)

Our flight is on the 25th and I would get my CFO sticker 9GCP seminar done) on Monday, Dec 23 - I know they look for the Immigrant data summary before they give the sticker. I'm going to call USEM on Monday to confirm but should I re-book our flight?

You are fine.

The embassy is changing over to digital data for immigrant visas, all your case file documentation is digital, there is NOT an Immigrant data sheet.   CFO is aware of this    (DO NOT bring your medical file to CFO )

Did you have a TB issue?  (thus the reason for the medical file being sent separate )

Safe travels :)

Thanks Hank! I underwent sputum test in September, had to wait 2 months for the culture result.

Yes, that is what I thought.  That medial file will be forwarded to the local county health clinic where you live (USA), most likely they will require you complete a 2nd SPUTUM.

All is good!

Safe Travels

My dad had the same situation. His IV application was done electronically. He was asked to do a TB test and passed. He was given a yellow sealed packet with his med record only. He entered US in Oct with no problems. But the officer at POE didn't take the yellow packet and gave it back to him. He is still waiting for his actual card. I wonder if he is supposed to give that packet to somebody like the local health department? What happened when you entered US? Did they take your yellow sealed packet? Many thanks!

Normally the county health dept will make contact.   Others had to complete another SPUTUM.

Thank you very much for your reply. The POE didn't take the sealed yellow packet, and we still have it in our hands. Do you know if this will affect my dad getting the actual card (we are still waiting)? I don't know if POE officers are supposed to take the packet and give it to USCIS or health Dept. Want to make sure they didn't make a mistake.

With the electronic file process they may not keep the medical file anymore, the country will want it at some point, they should contact you.

No it will not affect delivery of the green card.   Did you pay the immigration fee to USCIS?

Thanks again. Very helpful! Yes, we paid the immigration fee online before entering US in September. Got the IOE receipt number. When we checked the online case status, it says USCIS received the payment and will send card within 120 days. My mom landed the same day as my dad did. She already got her physical card in mail more than a month ago. She didn't need the TB test and everything is electronic. Therefore, she didn't have the sealed medical packet as my dad did. That made me wonder if there is something wrong with my dad's case.

Do you know for others who need to do another SPUTUM in US, their cards will come after the test or there is no dependency between these two things? Will they revoke my dad's IV if the subsequent test in US turn out to be positive?

many thanks again!
