Please see my questions below and consider answering so others might benefit from your experience.

 

1. I just got off of phone with USCIS. The guy informed me that irrespective of whether you file online or on paper, in both cases you should be able to see all the documents you sent. For on-paper applicants he said you'd get some code in your mail that you can use to link to your online account and you will be able to see all the documents you sent. Is this true?

 

2. For on-paper I-130 has some awesome quirks, for example:

    2.1. You get additional space to "explain" you answer. Can you do it on online applications as well?

    2.2. In I-130 instructions it says "Enter dates in mm/dd/yyyy format. If you cannot provide an exact date, provide an approximate date in the same format and include an explanation in Part 9. Additional Information.". If one does know the exact date, how do we "explain" that in online application?
