Hi everyone!

I was wondering is anyone has any experience with filing their I-129F from abroad. My fiancée (petitioner) is going to be with me in New Zealand for a while, however she doesn't have enough time to file all of the paperwork before she leaves the States.

The instructions for the I-129F says that it cannot be filed to an embassy or a USCIS abroad, however we were planning to just send the paperwork through international mail to the Dallas Lockbox Facility. Would this work?

Haha, I suppose I sort of did! Sorry for the repeat posting, I didn't mean to clutter the place with my questions.

In the case of the other post I was referring to completing the post- I-129F process in New Zealand, not filing the initial I-129F package itself.

If it's the same deal and there's no reason why we couldn't send paperwork through international mail, then I'm good to go. Thanks!

Have you considered marrying before your fiancé leaves and applying for a CR-1? It has more benefits than the K-1 when you arrive.
