Application sent on May 28th 2019

Interviewed Nov 7th 2019 in Atlanta.

Appointment time is at 1:10 yet I didn't get to speak to the Io till 3.

6 questions first, then moved to name-change (that if I were to change name with uscis, oath might take a bit longer to schedule, or if i were to change my name later with the court  myself, it will cost extra) .

Went over application, my name, my birthday, where I was born, where I've lived. He was surprised that I moved away from and to Atlanta so we joked about the cold weather in the Northeast and midwest.

He was curious of my job title, so we talked about that a little. Very casual we even talked about football lol.

Yes/No questions, I told him about my speeding tickets back in college, he said not to worry about it.

Decision couldn't be made right there but I got an email this morning, now I just need to wait for Oath.

Oh wow! I just sent my application today online and my FO is in ATL as well. I guess I could have done it earlier but I like to procrastinate 🤪

It looks like the interview was quick and easy for you - I am hoping that it will be the same for me. My old passport expires in July next year, so looking at the 8 months - 19 months processing time, I need to  just go ahead and renew it 😑

Congratulations to you and thank you for sharing!
