Hey!

Our petition for a spousal visa has made it to the NVC stage - yay!

One of the documents I am asked to upload is "EXCHANGE VISITOR DOCUMENTATION (J-1)" -  is anyone around who has had to submit this as well, and can tell me what exactly they want uploaded?

I've previously held two J-1 visas; I was a high school exchange student at the age of 16, and did a university-required internship in 2017. Do they just want scans of the respective visa-pages of my old passports?

Not sure what to upload. :help:

Thanks in advance!

I had to submitted my J1 visa infos and I submitted copies of the visa passport pages and all the paperwork I had. there was a paper that you had to keep with you while on the visa. I believe I submitted a copy of that as well.

I would recommend you contact the nvc or the embassy to ask what they want you to submit just to be sure.

Are you talking about the DS2019?

i have that from my internship, but not the high school exchange year - at the end of that they removed the form from my passport when I was leaving the country. I‘ll give them a call — but thank you!!!

Hey, I know this is quite a few months later, but did you get DQ with just the scanned visa, or did they request more from you? I'm asking because my wife is in the same position and we don't know if they require the DS2019 along with the visa itself. My assumption is just the visa, because I'd expect that they'd explicitly state that they want the DS2019 as well if they did really need it. Thank you for any help if you see this!
