Dear VJ family,

We got our I-30 approval last week on 28.10.2019 and now its in transit to NVC

I have two quick questions:

first I don't have a Birth certificate except it was mentioned in my educational documents, CNIC and passport. Do I need one to get from Union council or NADRA?

Secondly, my attorney find out there there is an error of dates by NADRA in my termination of earlier marriage i.e. Divorce certificate from NADRA, which needed correction to match it with Union council certificate dates, So what course of action should be adopt as our case is already approved and en-route to NVC? Should I apply with NADRA  to fix it? Should we convey NVC  to replace it with rectified document, after due process from NADRA? Any thought?

Thanks

Embd

You need to get the birth certificate from Union council. Secondly yes get the dates corrected from Nadra, in any case you have to resubmit your previous marriage certificate and divorce paper to NVC, that might will automatically correct the error, but also call nvc and ask them about it as well.

So basically. You will need to get a new birth certificate issued from NADRA. Secondly you will need to make sure the dates on your NADRA divorce certificate match the dates of the Union Council divorce decree(stamped ruppee paper) stating the reason for divorce and attested by a lawyer. They will ask for you to submit your divorce decree, divorce certificate at NVC. You need to make sure all the dates on the union Council divorce decree match the dates on the final NADRA certificate.

All  dates on UC certificate are correct but NADRA made an error, so I am trying to fix it before the interview.
