Hello. I need an advise or experience please ! I filed my I751 2 years ago and my case was transferred twice! They told me my care is pending interview ! But I don’t understand why it takes so long for them to make a desidions on my case? Has anyone waited as long as I do and if yes do u know the reasons ?

Consider contacting the Ombudsman (CISOMB) to check on the disposition of your application and maybe prod them into action: https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

It’s becoming very common the last 3-4 years and other than renewing the I-551 stamp you shouldn’t worry about your case.  It isn’t you.

Our congressman (Texas) held a town hall about this issue in Houston a couple of months ago.

If you are waiting on an interview it can take a very long time for an interview slot to open in some offices. I know in some parts of NY the wait is almost 1 year! There really is nothing you can do except wait. You can contact the ombudsman and/or your congressperson for help and to make sure you are actually in line for an interview and the case hasnt fallen through the cracks or you can inquire at an infopass.
