My fiancee and I are nearing the end of the k1 visa process. My question is about the interview. I know I fill out a seperate ds 160 for her and her child that's coming with her, but must her 16 year old daughter go to the interview with her? I would think yes because there are fingerprints taken, but I just want to make sure so we plan accordingly. Thank you.

Separate ds160, separate appointment,  separate interview, separate everything

YMMV

Does the parent get to sit in on the child's interview?

Does the embassy usually take into consideration that its 2 family members in two different interviews, and allow them to be the same day? The interviews in Brazil are in Rio, and that's very far from where my fiancee lives...

Applicant schedules the interview,  so you should be able to get them on the same day

YMMV

What documents will the child of the beneficiary need to have with her for her interview? Passport, birth certificate, ds 160 confirmation page with barcode,....?

Follow the instructions that you will get from your consulate

YMMV
