hello, my visa interview and my mom's was 1 month ago at the consulate of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, i'm coming from a k1 visa (i'm like the bride's son) .My mom is the bride and our visa is not was approved in the interview because her fiancé's original divorce certificates were missing, and now we are in administrative processing (AP) at session 221g, where she was asked to send the pending documents and also evidence of relationship that the consul did not look on of the interview.
- I ask if anyone has been through this, or is going and can help me with some information ...
- And I would also like to know if the visa would be issued even after its expiration date (which in our case is expiring September 30th)

as it is only 9 days since we sent the pending documents...

It will take time to review the documents. No one can predict how long. Hopefully there is no other issue and it won’t be long but you have to be patient 
 

and you are coming on a k2, which is a derivative of k1.
