Hi Guys,

We are waiting for the K1 VISA to be processed in  mid October 2019.

1- What should I have prepared for my interview at the U.S. embassy in Chile?

2- What information and documents should I bring?

Awaiting for a response,

Kind regards.

It is consulate-specific, and the list of documents should be in packet 3 for your consulate.

Thank you!

When you say packet 3, is this something that will be sent to me or given to me at the consulate in Chile? If not, where would I find the Packet 3

I'm not sure how Chile does it, but for NZ, it was emailed to me (the USC petitioner), and I forwarded it to my fiancé beneficiary.  @Greenbaum keeps records for nearly all of the consulates, so maybe he knows.

Interesting...Jodi, the petitioner in USA has not received any email with information for me, the beneficiary.  She only has received at this point the Notice of Action Letter I-797C.  We are also working thru the CSC (California Service Center).  Perhaps when they start the process which should be mid October, then Jodi will receive the packet via email

She won't get it until your approved petition is at the consulate, and it will have to transit through NVC first.  If Greenbaum sees this though, he will probably be able to attach whatever he has for Chile's P3 so you can get a head start on it.
