Any one got a trick or a city where the LTO is lenient regarding issuing DL to Americans?

Last trip I got thru the medical portion (blood pressure test) and was waiting to get my picture taken and was told since I was only had a 30 day entry they couldn't issue me a Drivers License.   If I had entered with my wife with a BB stamp then they would issue.

TIA

Don't know any tricks .. except a "greased palm", but not sure that will go very far.

ACR card, SRRVisa card or like you said the BB stamp.

In addition, for foreigners, the applicant must have been in the Philippines for at least one (1) month with proof that he/she will stay in the country for at least one (1) year from date of application.   "

Why do you need a Philippines driver license? Foreign driver license is valid in the Philippines for 90 days or possibly 1 year.

90 days. And of course some police and PNP in the province don't know this, but not a worry for me.

I don't want to have to carry my passport to : Check into hotels, Show as valid ID for flights, driving my motorbike.
