Fom 221(g) for my K1 visa

Hi All,

 

I had my K1 visa interview on the 14th of August 2019 in Mumbai. The Visa Officer saw my evidence; I was with my fiance and said the visa was approved. 

3 weeks later, I got my passport back with a white slip 221g, saying my case is under administrative processing and they will contact me when it's complete.

 

I would like to know if anyone's had this same experience and what the outcome of that was. 

 

I just really miss my fianceé and can't wait to be back with her. The process feels so heartbreakingly slow and long!

I picked up my passport today and wanted to update my case here. There are a lot of incomplete cases on here, which really just add to the anxiety. If you are reading this, don't worry, you'll get your visa. Just find something else to do in the meantime. God bless!

 

 

Below are my details:

 

August 14 2019 : Interview in Mumbai; officer said the visa was approved

 

Sept 4 2019: Got my passport back with a white form 221g stating my application was in administrative processing

 

Sept 17 2019: I picked up a letter from my pick up location. The letter was dated Sept 9 2019 and asked for my passport. I kept getting emails from 11 Sept saying my 'passport was picked up from the Consulate'. I ignored these emails thinking it was a system glitch until one day I called the VAC and they said I had a document to be picked

 

*Dropped my passport off the same day*

 

Sept 18 2019: New status on Immigrant Visa Application status checker showed 'Application Received' under the Non Immigrant Visa Application heading

 

Sept 24 2019: Status was 'Administrative Processing'

 

Sept 26 2019: Status changed to 'Issued'

 

Sept 30 2019: Picked up my passport with a 'Do no open' envelope
