K1 interview fee?

Hey everyone 

 

Fiancee will be having her K1 interview in Rio de Janeiro on Sept 17. So excited!!

I've heard about having to pay more money at the consulate when having the interview. Is there an extra fee with the interview? We already paid the $265 Mrv fee and the consulate says they can't answer the question.

No extra fees.   $265 covers expenses of the interview and delivery of the visa

They only thing "extra" would be if you bring a phone along. It's not permitted inside the consulate but there's a place that will store it for a fee.

The medical exam and other possible labs are a completely different cost.
