Hi ,

I am a Greencard holder and  I have filed I-130 for my  Spouse of filed in April 2017 (Reciept Date), still no approval letter or Welcome letter ha come till now.

It is being processed in the California Center , and as of now its 4 months past the processing time given in the Processing time list. Have also raised Service request multiple times and the answer is Security check and Volume of Case is High.

I am worried since the approval letter itself is not received. Has any one who has the same Priority date (April 2017) in California Center has got their Case processed or even got their Case Approved.....?

I have no idea what to do.

Hello

My cousin on same status as you are. Hers may 2017 and still nothing. So Dom worry it will be a long wait for Green card holders spouse .

Also friend of mine just got approval letter when his application almost passed 2 years . So you have to wait around that long.

I did call them too , been calling them for the past 5 months , raised 3 service request too but all they are saying is either "Security check (2 times) or Volume of Case is High(1 time)" these are the 2 replies they give when there is no progress. And also when i call them , they give the status based off of the Service request only so no other updates but just reading out the Reply from the service request. Also you can only raise 1 service request in 30 days.

Also MNU , for your cousin sister who applied in May 2017 , did she get her Approval letter ....? , For me i have only got one letter which is - i 797c notice of action.

If you got I-797C that means your I-130 is approved. You should have received your I-797 by now.
