Hallo guys , i did my interview on august 8th at US Embassy Jakarta Indonesia, and they gave me 221g and asked for Joint sponsor.I’ve submitted to them like a week after the interview. They’ve received it .My case status was on AP for 2 weeks and today the status changed become “ Ready “ . I just want to know what’s gonna happen next ? And how long usually until the case “ issued “ ?

Thank you in advance 🙏

Honest answer:

No one really knows except the Embassy.  It could be 2 days, 2 weeks or two months.

Best case scenario:

Your case will go from "Ready" to "Application Received" in 3 days.

It will spend another 2 days in "Application Received" and then switch to "Non-Immigration Administrative Processing."

After 3 days of Administrative Processing, it will switch to "Issued," and your passport will be shipped and you receive it within 5 days.

This is all speculation, and I hope that you receive it quickly.

Fill out your timeline, and then you will be able to see the timelines of other people who have been issued visas from that Embassy recently.....and keep us all updated on how things work out for you.

in my case it took 2 weeks from ready to issued.  and from issued to RPX jakarta 2 business days for us to get the passport+visa.

But again everyone's case is different. I had my interview at the 7th of August 2019 at Jkt embassy also.

Good luck! 😊
