Question regarding i485

I was told I could apply for a social security number and a permit to travel outside the country while my i485 was pending, I wanted to make sure that the correct applications were i131 (travel) and i765(work)

I filed my i485 4 years ago (long story why its taken this long) , I was told the work permit and the travel permit fees would be waived is this still true even though they will not be filed together but separate at about 4 1/2 years?

thank you.

absolutely they have been absolutely negligent in my case, they refuse to transfer my case from my last living state to my new one regardless of my timely manner of my ar11, they keep giving me the run around of "well review your case and make a decision in 90 days", each 90 days the director of a specific state sends me a letter saying i applied for a n400 or some random other form which ive never done (verified by several officers) and that im denied when im not denied (also verified by several officers), today i spoke with an immigration officers supervisor so hopefully she can help, its been many many years and i dont understand why they cant get it together
and they closed down all info pass appointments so i cant even go in.

I dont understand the issues my filing has been done correctly, and each immigration officer says they dont understand why this specific place keeps giving me the run around but they do

Keeping my fingers crossed they will hopefully get it together
