Hello

has anybody experienced difficulty in finger printing ? My cousin did her biometrics and everytime they tried to take the finger printing, the light is red not green. At the end the lady in charge told her to go. Did anybody experience similar situation? And was he/she asked to repeat the fingerprinting? Please share your experience.

Yes, I have hyperhidrosis so my hands sweat a lot. For my green card, I had to do my biometrics 4 times, until finally the last tech told me to talk to the ASC Manager to see what could be done, and the manager called a few people and finally found out that she could give me a letter to request a police clearance.

So for my N-400, so far, I've already done my biometrics two times.

Thank you for your reply.

You said, you have done biometrics twice. Can I know how long you waited after the first time to be called for a second biometric.

Sure

Nita failed fingerprinting twice at AOS, twice at ROC, and twice applying for a Travel document.

She has never has a set of fingerprints accepted by the FBI at any step in immigration in 13 years.

Which delays everything by 4-6 weeks to get the rejection letter with new appt and re-attend.

They only reject twice then they move the process along.  Dunno about naturalization and how many times they re-schedule it.

Hello, I have the same problem.  They say it can be from the fingerprints wearing down over years especially if you do certain jobs, working with paper, gardening can do it and also say a brick layer for example.  When I was first going through the initial process I went online and ordered this spray from a forensics company.  It's used to spray on fingerprints of deceased people to further enhance the prints for identification.............. didn't work on me!  Yes, I would say that a few more of my fingers passed but certainly not as many as was needed to be a pass.  So yes, I had to do the police clearance as well in lieu of fingerprints as I had tried 2 times and after that they get you to get the police clearance.  So frustrating I know, because you just know you're going to be called back.  Good luck!
