I have posted this before, but a friend of mine on H4 was advised by her husband’s company immigration lawyers that working remotely for foreign company and getting paid in foreign country was violation of not being allowed to work in the US. It mattered for her because violations would be bar for her to adjust. Most VJers who tell you it isn’t a problem are those marrying USC spouses (who also get forgiven their overstays, abuse of ESTA, other illegal work etc).
