CR 1 INTERVIEW MUMBAI...WAS GIVEN 221G

Hi All 

my wife's interview was on 25th June 2019 in Mumbai ,she was asked a lot or questions and was given a 221G , the interviewer was nice asked to send documents to prove marriage ,however did not keep the passport ,he asked us to put all documents in drop box. We have enough proof to show that we are married including pregnancy and a miscarriage  .My question is should we be sending the passport as well to avoid delays

Pregnancy is just proof that you had sex, not proof of marriage. There are lots of people who are not married and still get pregnant. 

 

What they are looking for a proof of a bona fide relationship. A relationship is different than a marriage. A marriage is two people show up at a courthouse, sign a piece of paper and voila, you’re married.

 

A relationship is looking at time spent together (face to face time is key, numbers of trips, ...) , commingling of assets (houses, lands, cars, motorbikes, boats, Seados,...), joint checking account, savings account, credit cards, filing taxes together, cohabitation, ..... the list goes on.

 

I wouldn’t send the passport until they ask for it.

yes I had made two trips from US to see her and yes we truly love each other ,always on the phone and been chatting so much that we have about 2000 pages of it a 1000 pictures ,yes my attorney is of the same opinion as to not sending the passport ,my 2 cents was what the harm 

also is a 221G something to worry about ,

also need to know if we need to pay at the drop box
