A petition for my Mother

I am a USC and planning to petition my Mom... I seen where they need my BC that showing my name and my mother's name but the thing is,her name on my BC is different from her BC (misspelled one letter on her name). I was wondering if anybody can help my how I can fix this and had gone through this situation. Thank you for your time!

I advise you to correct all the wrong info in your civil documents before starting the process. USCIS is now finding a reason to deny your case rather than helping you. So make sure you got all the correct documents, I believe your mother can correct your BC in her country where she filed.

My Mom doesn't have any BC at all since the City Hall burned out way way long ago. What my brother did they file for a Reconstructed Certificate of Live Birth based on PSA copy 

They can go to the NSO and they can request the documents or requirements.

Bus she has a BC, she doesn't need a new one... It's just her name on my BC is different from her BC.

I hope they can fix my BC and change my mother's name and not have to the other way around w/c have to change her first name... Thank you for the response.

When we requested a birth certificate there is no record that is why they submitted a late registration

If the names are different how do you plan to prove that it's the same person? Is there a national identity number or something like that common to both?
