Stuck in Administrative Processing at US Embassy London

Hello everyone,

I had applied for my Green Card through EB-3 using Consular Processing at the US embassy in London. Everything went well including the interview at the embassy. During the interview, I got told that my visa had been approved and I'll be receiving my passport back within 2 weeks. However, soon after, the case went under Administrative Processing (no slip issued) as part of security checks. It's been 14 months and the status won't budge. The embassy still has my passport, but refusing to give any timeline on the case completion. Wondering if anyone else had a similar experience – any insights would be helpful.

Visa Category: Immigrant PERM through EB-3 (Green Card)
Consular Processing
London Embassy
Case Created: Nov 2017
Status: Administrative Processing
Citizenship: Pakistan

Thanks!

Long AP is not unknown, you can ask for your Passport to be returned.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
