LOST SSN K1 VISA

Dear all,

Can anyone advise me on the following,

I was in the US on my J1 visa and obtained SSN  nine years ago in 2010.

Now me and my fiancee are starting the K1 visa obtaining process.

Unfortunately, I lost my SSN and don't have any records of its numbers, however it needs to be mentioned in I129F form.

Should I leave this line blank in the form or there is a way of reinstating the SSN number?

Thank you very much!

The number is tied to you for life, no matter where you live or work  The SSA will be able to advise you of the SSN but not until you are physically in the US and can go to a SSA office. Leave the line blank but be ready to explain is asked. The truth will not be an issue.. this sort of think happens .. if there is a section on the form for additional

comments , mention it there .
