Hey, 

Could anyone tell me if for the Cosponsor we would need a birth certificate or copy of passport for the interview?

Yes, either Birth Cert or Copy of Passport will work because they will need to provide proof of citizenship to be able to sponsor someone.

Regular copies should be fine! I think we used regular copies when we did it.

So a scanned and emailed copy that I’ve printed out should be fine? I know it’s a stupid question but just to confirm lol 😂.  I’m now at the point that I’m at my whits end, panicking that something’s going to go wrong.

Yeah, just make sure all of the information needed is completely visible!

Actually for. K1 interview in LONDON, they don't need that from a co-sponsor on an I-134. They won't ask you for it. Never do.

 

If it was an I-864 affidavit of support (IR1/CR1 visa), then yes a photocopy of either. The I-864 requires it by law. So nice that you have a copy because you'll need it for K1 adjustment of status if you use the same joint sponsor doing I-864.

For a K1's I134 in London? Nope. Not needed, not wanted, not even asked for.

Last question.  On the form part 3 question 38, it ask if they intend or do not intent to make specific contributions, how would they word the answer? 

They intend to support us in all ways needed for as long as necessary. From housing, to clothing, medical and food.  

My partner was recently made redundant and is hoping to start a new job in the next few weeks. But obviously pen to paper that doesn’t matter, his dad is happy to sponsor and support us for as long as nesscary, what would be key points he would have to cover. It asks for a amount of time, would “as long as  necessary“  be acceptable or should we put for the duration of the 90days?
