CFO Peer Counseling for minor

Most topics here regarding the seminar discuss the K visas but hopefully someone can enlighten me regarding an IR-2 visa. 

 

How long does it take to schedule a peer counseling session? I've read horror stories of 2-4 months waiting time for a PDOS slot, is it the same for the counseling? I'm imagining yes because there are lesser slots but then again there may be less emigrating children. You also can't book a session ahead of time because you need to show your visa in order to schedule one. 

 

I just want to know how long this may delay my travel.

All you can do is get scheduled to find out.

Adults:  Those 60 and above need only register to get the sticker.

Derivatives:  Children above 12 years of age must attend PDOS, those younger only need to be registered to get the sticker.  

Ages 13-19 will attend PDOS Peer Counseling.
