Waiting for P3 - Frankfurt

Frankfurt received our case on May 16, and since then we have been waiting for our P3. So it's been 13 days.

I checked similar cases on visa journey, and saw that couples receive their P3's in 3-10 days.

Should I ask the consulate if there is a problem or should I wait more? Maybe I am wrong, but I always imagined P3 as a straightforward procedure, in which they just print out some documents and post them... I don't understand what is taking so long, or if there is a problem about my case

I would just wait for a little bit, don't forget the embassy isn't working on US and German holidays, besides of what I heard is, that summer the peak time for Visa and the embassy receives a lot of applications which might add some days to work on urs.
