Is it possible to adjust status if I am in USA

You can not enter the US via a non-immigrant route with the intent to adjust status.....so no.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Not if you are currently outside the US.......You can not ENTER the US with intent to stay and adjust......It doesn't matter when you planned the visit.

Had you already been inside the US when the PD became current, it would be different.......but it is visa fraud to plan to enter and adjust.

What happened to the "loans to repay and dependent parents and brothers to take care"? 

 

When you visit the US on a b2, exit the US after your trip and go for F2a visa Consular Processing in India!!

No issue learning about opportunities. You had also inquired about a student visa. Circumventing the wait time by entering on a visitor or a frivolous student visa with intent to adjust status is seen as fraudulent. 

 

Legal immigration takes time, thousands of spouses in other countries await the visa process at home to be united with their loved ones.

I did ask about student visa as I was about to enroll my CPA course. As it is US course thought it would be better to do it there. After a quite a bit of research I enrolled here in my home country where I can take up my exams in USA. So it’s all about learning about opportunities I see in front of me and inquiring to understand better doesn’t seems to be fraudulent anyway. 

When I visited last time I did return to my home country way before expiration of my I94. I am completely new to this and when people speak about different routes I just wanted to know more about it. That’s my intention. I knew this process is so painful and depressing sometimes. Still we all are strong to hold our love to get united with our loved ones soon. I appreciate your insight about my thoughts. Thanks a lot.

Hopefully you and your LPR spouse spoke about the wait times before you got married. While the wait can be painful, helps for the foreign applicant to be aware of the processing times before commitment. 

 

I too got married in India, and my spouse waited to be interviewed in India without looking to get into the US on a b2 or f1. I communicated regularly with the spouse and inlaws, explained the visa process, which made the wait and the immigration process understandable. That's the way it ought to work.
