I am sorry, but I am struggling in proceeding after NOA2. Received confirmation from NVC over a week ago and not able to forward. If anyone can help me by directing me to the correct links would be appreciated. I am getting confused with copy & paste response that I have received earlier.

My fiance has a child and I need to apply for a Visa application for her & her child who is 12 years of age. I have applied for PCC for my fiance already and should be getting it by the end of next week.

If I follow the page that is mentioned on the NVC letter to start the process it is taking me to the page to complete DS-160 which is NON Immigrant Visa, but as per my understanding fiance visa is Immigrant Visa.

Do I need to apply for the DS-160 and follow the link which is showing that it might take 75 minutes to complete the application.

Do I need to to the same for her child also?

Will the application give me the interview date for my fiance and her child the same date?

K1 is actually kind of "non-immigrant" Visa.  So yeah you need to do DS-160.

I believe you need separate ds160 for the kid and separate interview fees.  They will interview together.

If you listed the child in your initial I-129F petition, then yes, they will need their own forms, fees, etc. The interviewing should be sending you specific information regarding the child's K2 visa and requirements. This DOS link has some useful general information on K1 and K2 processing: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/nonimmigrant-visa-for-a-fiance-k-1.html#6

Suggest that you contact the interviewing embassy/consulate. I think they may have your type of visa confused. It sounds like you need the DS160, Nonimmigrant Visa Application.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

If you applied for k1 Visa you need to have ds160 completed. Ds260 is for spouse Visa (for example).

For medical exam you need to make appointment with the embassy's approved doctor. You can usually find the list of doctors on your embassy's website. Just call them.

As for interview, again, check the embassy's guidelines.  It all depends on the country how you schedule the interview or if the interview will be scheduled for you.

I am trying to complete the DS-160 on the Manila embassy website but the form states that the site is down and under repair. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Not sure where the best place to post this. Any ideas. Thanks
