H1 benificiary name & COB (Country of birth ) mistake

Hello -

I received I797C for H1 lottery picked up confirmation letter, but I found my name spelling is a mistake 'Mohammed' instead of 'Mohammad '  and Country of birth (COB )  INDIA, instead of BANGLADESH. I don't know who made those mistake could be Law office who did submit file or USCIS office typo error. A service request has been set out 5/9/2019 from my Law office. Currently, my case status showing' Case was transferred  & a new office has Jurisdiction'.

Any idea, what would be next, is it possible to correction? How long it takes to make the correction? If anyone had the same experience, please share, would be appreciated.

Check with the company attorney(s). They are your best resource for H1B questions. And best to avoid using real names on public sites.

10/30/2017.......... Notice received in mail

10/30/2017.......... Check cashed

11/02/2017.......... Conditional GC expired

11/22/2017.......... Biometrics completed

Does not sound like a typo, more likely the Lawyer.
