K-1 Visa Interview appointment in Mumbai

We are unable to get the appointment for K-1 Visa Interview in Mumbai till October 2019 now but our Immigration approval ends on July 07, 2019.

We are looking at the Mumbai website for an appointment slot every day. Do we pick any available date even after the approval date or do we wait for any cancellation of any other appointments?

Is anybody else in the same situation. Please do advise me. Thanks.

This guy at mumbai biometrics told me the slots open at 2am everyday if there is any cancelation.

He had booked one for may but got one available for april through that process.

I am not sure if that works or not but you may give it a try.

It took me a whole week to book one. We got lucky when we checked early in the morning IST time (When the embassy opened ; it was about 10 PM US time). That is how we got an interview date and it is for July. Make sure you do not log on multiples times during the day; it will lock your account for 3 days.

Thank you, Martha, for your reply. Today I got the Embassy Interview date July 11, 2019, but the USCIS approval expires on July 07, 2019. I am worried if my embassy interview and my visa will fail due to these date problems. Do you know anyone else is in this situation?

No, I would not worry about it. It will automatically get extended.
