Hello,

My I-797 Expires 05-22-2019 and my Interview is confirmed for 6-18-2019. The interview is in Georgetown, Guyana Embassy. I called national visa center and they tell me to call the embassy, I called the embassy and they tell me to put the request via email which I have and I still get no answer. Any suggestions?

The Embassy has the ability to automatically revalidate the approval of the petition if an interview has not yet taken place with no action needing to be taken on your part; this is a common occurrence so you do not need to worry about it.

Hi. Just following up. I got an email 2 days after stating that the embassy will automatically revalidate the 797 like you stated Ryan H. Sometimes we just have to be a little more patience. Is just a long process. Now I'm going crazy doing the interview package. I have watched 1000x youtube videos. We have the interview on June 18. I'm planning on getting there to Georgetown Guyana on June 11 (Tuesday), I scheduled the doctor's appt for their medical on June 12 (7 AM Wednesday) from what I have heard we should get the results 1-3 days after so I'm hoping to get by Friday, then interview on June 18 (Tuesday) once approved we need to wait for some type of email to go get documentation from the embassy which I hear it could take up to a week but their return flight to Cuba is on Saturday the 22nd, which im really hoping I get that email by Friday 21st and I can just call the Caribbean airlines and change their flight to the USA instead of them going back to Cuba wait for email then the USA.
