N-400 Recommonded for approval

I did my interview today and the IO said he is recommnded my case to be approved but the supervisor will do the final approval ? I really dont know if this is normal ?

No one can predict an exact time, as it depends on if anything came up during your interview/needs checking into.... but from what I've seen reported usually no more than a few days to a week for straightforward cases recommended for approval.  Keep an eye on your online case status.

Thank you so much!  The IO told me also there are like 300 cases ahead of my case I do not understand what that mean? He mentioned that in my local office the Supervisor must review the cases even The most simple ones! Another thing I checked my estimated time to finish my case goes up to 11 months from 10 months after I finished my interview ? Is this mean anything ? Thank you so much !

That there are at least 300 applicants that have to be approved by the Supervisor/processed ahead of your application.  He may or may not have been exaggerating the number.

The estimated time function is glitchy, as it's still a relatively new tool---mine started out saying 9 months, then went to 18 months.  I completed my oath ceremony only 96 days after I filed my N400 (and on the day of my oath, my estimated time STILL read as 18 months until completion).  A lot of VJ members have said their estimated time moves back and forth frequently...don't pay attention to it much as it's not very accurate.

I appreciate your help! I did not get enough sleep last night keep checking! I really do not know what to do and you know at this point I am just praying. I really appreciate your help at least I feel I am not the only one having the same thing!
