Ah, your wife completed CFO many months ago and has her passport in her married name now?



It wasn't many months ago it was like a month and half ago. She got her passport under her name in December once we got the PSA marriage certificate. I filed for I-130 in Jan 31st of this year. 

I just got her to do the CFO quickly because I didn't want to wait for an appointment or any potential delays, so if it's possible to get it done now that's what i had her do.. 

If I could log on to CEAC now and upload all the potential documents and prepay I would but efficiency isn't what any gov't is about.

Good move on your part, that way you filed the I-130 in her married name and the green card (eventually when you get to that part) will be issued in her married name.   :thumbs:  

 

Some (married) don't complete CFO and get the passport renewed in the married name ..

 

Ya can't do anything with NVC until USCIS gets done with the petition . and they seem to be slow for sure
