Question before oath ceremony -

Do we need to take any photographs with us when we are going to the oath ceremony. I think I read somewhere those photos will be used for passport application but not sure..

Or do they take photos at the oath venue that we can use to apply for the US passport.

For the oath ceremony,  no.  To apply for a passport, yes

Hi guys,

I am a mid April 2019 filer from Los Angeles County, my interview has been scheduled for next month. But I also have my conditions to remove on GC pending whilst I applied for N-400. How can I request the upcoming N-400 interview to be combo interview? Any tips would be handful. I also believe some folks reported that it takes 3 months from combo interview to get both Conditions lifted and GC to be permanent and get the approval for the oath. Pls let me know if this is correct. Thanks 😊

Question: how long Does it take from the moment the status change to “we scheduled your interview” until I’m able to see the date on the site?

For my case, I believe it took between 24 and 48 hours for the letter to show up.

I got a hard copy of it being transferred to NBC but a week after I called  the phone # and the automated system told me it was transferred to CSC in laguna Nigel. So I believe it’s with CSC right

Thank you for your answer, Kaman.

The reason I asked you is because I've noticed that when the I-751 is pending and one files N-400, the I-751 is transferred to NBC. That seems to indicate that the N-400 interview will be a combo interview.

When I got my instructions for the N-400 interview, there was no mention of a combo interview. I still went prepared in case it was, and it was indeed a combo interview, so I'd be prepared for it if I were you.

I hope this answers your question 😉
