Timeline

Ok I'm really concerned now. Nvc has had my case for exactly 8 weeks. I call every week and still no case number. Today they said my case is in Administrative Processing and there is no time frame and no information they can give me!!! HELP!!!!

I just never heard of AP at this stage though...we don't even have a case number and haven't submitted DS 261 etc...

Just wanted to update in case anyone else goes through this. The AP was normal and not the AP everyone worries about...poor choice of words from NVC. It did end up taking 10 weeks to get a case number from NVC but then things progressed quickly :)
