Hi all,

Is anyone able to provide a sample or outline for the Letter of Employment used for evidence for I-134 Affidavit of Support? I'm thinking something along the lines of:

My positions

Dates of employment

Salary

Nature of the position
Boss's signature

Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks in advance!!

I would also state whether the position is full-time or part-time, and number of hours per week worked. I've also seen USCIS reference 'future prospects of employment' such as 'Dee is a valued employee and has good prospects for progression through the company', but I didn't do this and it wasn't an issue, so I don't think it is strictly necessary. There's more scrutiny at the I-864 stage. At my interview they actually only asked for a single paystub!

Make sure the letter is dated, on company-headed paper, and includes the name of the company.

A single paystub - wow! And this was helpful, I'll be sure to include the additional info. Thank you!
