Hi everyone,

I gave a call to the NVC today to get my case number. They confirmed they received my case on February 12th and it should take around 8 weeks to get a case number.

The very kind lady on the line told me that I will have to send everything online, nothing by mail.

When I asked her if it's based on the consulate where I will have my interview, she told me that she can't see anything about my file right now...

Does that mean that all NVC cases are now going through the CEAC online processing? Or maybe she could see something on her computer but didn't tell me :)

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Ecuador

for CR1 the supplemential documents are bring scanned in and sent to CEAC

we use to mail them but this is so much better

you don't have to have to wait for the original criminal report

it can be emialed and scanned into the system and the spouse takes original to interview

so much better than waiting for mail to come from there to send originals
