Hi guys, I’ve read threads that discussed about how some of you have submitted your citizenship application through VAWA, just wondering where to actually submit it? which field office? I remember when I did my VAWA and Greencard it was sent to Vermont field office, is it the same way when you file for citizenship? Also, I have a 9 days trip to europe this year around november, does it have any negative impact in my citizenship process. I want to submit my forms in March of this year. 

Thank you in advance for those who are willing to help answer my questions.

There are no special requirements for people submitting an N-400 when they obtained their green card through VAWA. 

 

Your nine day trip will not affect the process.

345 (4/3/13) I-360, I-485 formally approved; green card production ordered
353 (4/11/13) Received green card

Day 6 (1/9/18) Walk-in biometrics in Fort Worth, TX

Day 341 (12/10/18) Interview was scheduled for 1/14/19

Day 376 (1/14/19) Interview

Day 385 (1/23/19) Denied

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX
