Medical day before interview

6 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

My fiancee is doing his medical exam the day before the interview so that he doesn't have to make the travel to London twice. Does anyone know approximately by how much this can delay the visa getting approved? Are we talking days or weeks? We tried calling the US Embassy but they directed us to sending an email and the email directed us to a FAQ page that wasn't helpful.

Thanks in advance!

I had exactly the same thing...

my medical was 22nd August, interview 23rd... the embassy got my medical results on 30th, and I got my visa returned to me on September 11th

That’s super helpful. I figured we weren’t ready the only ones doing it this way. Thank you so much!

Thank you Soph. So helpful.

I'm in exactly the same boat.

Just got notified last night my interview in on March 1st, which is in 10 days!

The earliest medical appointment at knightsbridge will be on Feb 28th. SO a day before...

I thought I'd have to reschedule the interview!
