I just received my ROC approval and expecting my GC for tomorrow.

I'm going to apply online for my citizenship but I dont know how I'll do about my son. I called USCIS and they told me that if I apply because my son is 9 years old he will be granted citizenship through me. And that I just have to go and apply for a us passport for him after I receive the certificate when I'm approved.  Have any of you filed already with children and how was the process. I'm really anxious now about that because o dont want to leave my son out or anything. My other two children have the citizenship one through birth and my daughter because my husband did the process for her in DR.

What they told you is correct. A child under 18 living with parent in the US on a green card automatically becomes a citizen when the parent does.

Thank yoj i just have so many people saying different stuff that you never know.
