Hello. I’m the petitioner. I filed I 130 in October 2018. My situation is this, I worked on and off in 2018 because I was traveling to see my husband in his country. I have been renting out my place to travel to see my husband. In 2019, I have been working on and off also but my employer understands the need to travel to be with my husband. I will be seeing him again in April or May, that should be around the time I should be receiving my noa2 so we can move on to the next process which is the NVC. MY question is  can I just show them a letter from my current employer showing my current salary and that I’m still working with them?  I have spent soo much time outside of the country visiting my husband that I’m getting nervous about the I 864 part. And I don’t think I will have a joint sponsor. What is everybody else doing?  I know soo many of us on here is in my shoes. Please advise😥

By April or May you will have your 2018 tax return. That’s what they want to see. Are you comfortably over the 125% of the federal poverty line for your household size? If it’s borderline, a joint sponsor is often recommended just in case.
